Second time using Simply Stumps. Really quick and simple to get a quote using WhatsApp to take photos of the job. I had 5 stumps that needed removing. I had Richard come out the next day - he did a great job grinding them all down and we had a good chat! Thank you Scott and Richard.

Simply Stumps did a great job removing a stump left by a felled tree in my back garden. Access was tight and it was in the corner of two fences, fortunately no nearby buried services. Pricing jobs remotely keeps the overall cost down and I provided as many photos as possible so Scott knew what his team would find on the day. The work was completed quickly and the site left clean and tidy. The operator was very polite and put down protection to avoid marking my driveway where he had to do a 20 point turn to get through the side gate. A much better option than losing an unknown number of days of my life and ruining my back trying to dig it out manually. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Simply Stumps ground down four stumps for me, up to 400mm diameter, plus one exposed 75mm dia. exposed tree root. The quotation and order process via WhatsApp was very straightforward with Scott, the Owner of the business – as was payment on completion. Kieran did the work on the day and was a pleasure to have here. He was thoroughly professional and prepared for the job well. He used shields around the work to minimise the noise and disruption and left the area beautifully tidy. His safety consciousness looked tremendous. I worked in the construction industry for forty years and know a professional outfit when I see one. Scott and Kieran were a great example of such a company.

Simply Stumps - Very happy with the whole process from getting the quote from Scott from photographs and the efficient job done by Kieran. Over the past few years I had had some seven big mature Ash, Chestnut and Elm felled with just the stumps remaining and I decided it was time for them all to go. Two needed extra care as they were wrapped around the roots of a huge chestnut tree. Kieran managed that very carefully, removing the old stumps without a scratch on the Chestnut. I did have a second quote from the guys who had felled the trees in prior years. Much more expensive! It confirms, if you want stumps removed go to a specialist!

Really happy with this company. I was let down numerous times by another company and contacted simply stumps with literally a day in hand. They were able to fit me in at short notice with a more than fair price. Literally came in and saved the day!!!!

We used simply stumps for both our front and back garden stumps on separate occasions. Contacted Scott through their website WhatsApp link, we sent a few photos, got a quote quickly both times and at a good price. Keiran arrived the following week to do the work, he was friendly and did a great job. Thanks both.

Highly recommend. I had a large tree cut down which needed splitting into logs. Contacted Scott and he was really prompt in getting back to me with a price which was very good for the size of the task! Kieran turned up on time and was a thoroughly nice person who cracked on and did a great job. Really impressed and grateful for their service as it would have taken us months to split the wood ourselves.

I called Simply Stumps and spoke to Scott as needed a few tree stumps and bush stumps removed. I was asked to send over some pictures and was sent a very very reasonable quote. I was booked in for the following week and the man arrived on time, was very professional and couldn’t do enough for us. The job was done perfectly and they even had shields to prevent the chippings from going everywhere. I highly recommend this company and their staff as many places charge a fortune and leave a complete mess, but Simply Stumps were superb throughout and even checked after that the job was done to my satisfaction.

When your builder tells you, they have to stop work as they’ve hit an unexpected tree stump, fear set in, imagining long scheduling delays. However, Simply Stumps were able to find somebody to come on site that day and resolve the issue, keeping everything on schedule. I can’t thank the Simply Stumps team enough!

I've used Simply Stumps twice now at two addresses to remove tree stumps. Their service is first class and very professional leaving no trace of the tree stump to quite some depth. They also left the site neat and tidy. I have absolutely no problem recommending them.

I received a quote before the work started by sending a photo and found this very helpful.
The stump was in a difficult to access location and limited in space. SImply Stumps have a small grinder which can do this.
The stump was removed to a good depth.
Kieran quickly cleared the debris from the driveway with a leaf blower which saved me another job.
I will definitely be using Simply Stumps again

Very efficient organisation - just had to send them photos of the stumps that needed grinding and they came back very quickly with an estimate. I didn’t have to wait long for the work to be done and was very happy with the result. Highly recommended.

Firstly it was easy to get a quote by simply sending pictures and details of what was needed via WhatsApp. Once a date was agreed they arrived punctually. The work was carried out professionally and with care. The area where the stumps were was racked and tidied. Great job.

Excellent service. Came as arranged. Stump completely removed, plus removed some higher thick branches first. Grinding machine went easily through our side entrance and passage to the back garden. Cleaned up well afterwards.

We came to know about Simply Stumps through neighbours that used the service and highly recommended them. They are very efficient, prompt and reasonably priced. Scott was excellent in advising us what we had to do and he was available to speak to me to clarify information regarding the work that had to be done. Kieran was excellent on the day. He arrived on time, worked incredibly hard to ensure that we had smooth and levelled finish so we could lay the turf. We will definitely recommend the team. Excellent team, very friendly and approachable.

The young lad who came was very well natured and professional. He came on time and just got on with it. He removed two trees and cut them up and left them neatly in piles at my requested location Nd cleaned cleaned site to a great standard too.
Overall very happy all round and would definitely recommend this company.

Very professional service at a very competitive rate. They turned up on time and removed the one large tree stump requested and left the garden cleared. Happily recommend and use again.
